Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to nexsight.me and the NexSight platform, operated by Nexsight Vision Systems, registered in Pakistan (info@nsvsystems.com). It covers two groups of people whose data we process differently: (a) visitors to this website, and (b) workers, supervisors and administrators whose data is entered into the NexSight platform by our customers.

2. Data we collect

Website visitors: when you submit the contact or demo-request form, we collect the name, email, phone number, company, role and message you provide. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

Platform data (entered by our customers): NexSight is a workforce and site-safety platform. Depending on how a customer configures it, this can include worker names, ID photos, certification and training records, certification expiry dates, permit and incident records, vehicle and equipment telemetry, and video footage tied to a project, site or zone. This data is entered and controlled by our customers (the organizations operating the platform), who act as the data controller for their own workforce.

3. The Digital Safety Passport specifically

The Digital Safety Passport stores, per worker: identity details needed to issue a credential (name, photo, a stable credential ID), certification type, issuing body where applicable, issue and expiry dates, and status history (issued, active, expiring, expired or revoked). This record is scanned on-site via QR badge and checked automatically by Permit-to-Work at the moment a permit is approved. Access to passport data is scoped by the same role-based permissions as the rest of the platform.

4. How we use data

We use website-visitor data solely to respond to inquiries and follow up on demo requests. Platform data is used solely to operate the safety and operational workflows our customers configure — permit approvals, credential checks, incident tracking, fleet and equipment records, and the associated audit trail. We do not sell personal data.

5. Data retention

Pending confirmation: exact retention periods depend on customer configuration and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. HSE audit requirements in a given jurisdiction) and are being finalized with legal and engineering. As a starting principle, certification and audit-trail records are retained for as long as needed to satisfy the compliance purpose they were collected for, and are not deleted simply because a certification has expired — the record of the expiry itself is part of the audit trail.

Website contact-form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to the inquiry, and are not used for any other purpose.

6. Who we share data with

We do not share platform data with third parties except: (a) infrastructure and hosting providers who process it on our behalf under contract, (b) where a customer configures a webhook to push their own events to their own downstream systems, and (c) where required by law.

7. Your rights

If NexSight platform data includes information about you as a worker, requests to access, correct or delete that data should go through your employer or site operator, who controls that data as our customer. For website-visitor data, you can request access, correction or deletion at any time by emailing contact@nexsight.me.
